U.S. Cellular Field. Replacing one of baseball’s most historic ballparks, Comiskey Park, U.S. Cellular Field is the high-tech home of the American League's Chicago White Sox. One of the most high - tech stadiums in the game, US Cellular Field has a special atmosphere for baseball fans. Located on the shore of Lake Michigan, south of downtown, Soldier Field is a legendary part of Chicago sports history. The renovated Soldier Field also presents an array of musical concerts, sports events and festivals. The Bears season opens the first week of September and continues through December.
